The Challenge
Our customer was looking for a solution for the distribution of electrolytes in its copper electrolysis plant as part of a copper recycling process in Tyrol. Particular attention was paid to customer-specific requirements. The customer wanted an easy-to-assemble, pre-assembled system with just-in-time delivery of the fittings.
The Solution
Aliaxis' versatile portfolio includes various fittings that can be automated. We make sure to take individual customer requests into account in order to meet all requirements. In this project, our high-quality PP butterfly valves type FK and the ball valve type VKD for industrial applications were installed. These products can be easily automated. For this project, the customer chose a pneumatic actuator and an easy-to-install feedback box with "click" function, the LSQT limit switch box from FIP.
The Realisation
Aliaxis provided support from the planning phase to the final implementation. During the planning phase, we helped with the selection of suitable materials. Our tools, such as the chemical resistance guide, support our customers in selecting the right plastic. Polypropylene (PP) is characterized by high temperature and solvent resistance, making it ideal for industrial applications such as electrolysis piping. We provided CAD data for detailed 3D planning, which our customers can download quickly and easily online. Thanks to careful planning and good cooperation between Aliaxis, the customer, the planner and the fabricators, the installation went smoothly.
