Galvanization: This is used to protect the processed surface from corrosion. A layer is applied to products made of steel or plastic to provide long-term corrosion protection and abrasion resistance. The most common electroplating process is a hot metal bath, where the object is immersed in molten metal to apply a chemical coating.

Pickling lines: The process aims to remove impurities (stains or oxides, e.g. rust) from the surface. It is typically used in steel production.

Painting lines: Various technologies are used for surface painting. One important one is electrophoretic coating, in which a metal part is immersed in an watery solution containing a paint emulsion.
