Pipes, fittings and valves from a single source
UPVC (rigid polyvinyl chloride - plasticiser-free) was developed in Germany in 1930 and is obtained through the polymerisation process of vinyl chloride monomer. The presence of chlorine in the PVC-U molecule results in a resin that guarantees excellent thermal stability, chemical and mechanical resistance up to temperatures of 60°C.
The variety of compositions obtained through the addition of suitable additives and stabilisers make UPVC the most versatile plastic. It can be adapted to different applications and needs in the most diverse areas of pressurised media use.
UPVC represents one of the most economical solutions in the field of thermoplastic and metallic materials to solve the problems encountered in the transport of industrial corrosive fluids and in the distribution and treatment of water in general.
Characteristics of UPVC:
-
Great chemical resistance
-
Great thermal stability
-
Great mechanical resistance
-
Durability
Aliaxis offers a complete range of UPVC pipes, UPVC fittings and UPVC valves with the option of automation and the necessary installation equipment such as cleaners and adhesives.
