Craftsmanship, ambition and team spirit!
This was proven by the participants of the “Leitungsbauchallenge” 2024 of Rohrleitungsbauverband e. V. (rbv), where we as Aliaxis were happy to support. A total of 11 teams faced the challenges at IFAT in Munich on the 14th and 15th of May. For example, they had to repair a transverse fracture of a cast iron pipe with a FRIAFLEX stainless steel coupler (see pictures) or craft a material transition from a cast iron pipe to a PE pipe with a FRIASAFE coupler. The fastest teams to complete the tasks, while considering the assembly guidelines, were the winners. The whole event was moderated alternately by Hawle Armaturen GmbH and Mathias Baier from Aliaxis, who provided exciting insights into the used products and their applications.
